Langley James uses a highly effective approach to finding the best talent for each vacancy. We provide each client with shortlist of the best available candidates, meeting recruitment deadlines. We provide a full recruitment service, including identifying and screening candidates and managing the recruitment process. The specified deadlines for vacancy prioritisation, interview times and specified start dates are all integrated into our processes.

We work closely with each client to ensure that quality permanent / contract personnel are found; based on your exact requirement.

Database

The best candidates may not be necessarily seeking a new position, so we have built a database over the last 10 years to enable us to network for the right candidates. Langley James maintains a database of over 50,000 contract and permanent candidates, who have registered with us, which are constantly monitored and updated by our Candidate Resource Managers. This database is maintained on a daily basis and this is always up to date. We also provide a facility to our candidates, for ongoing registration against future requirements.

Networking, referrals and head hunting

Candidates not on the open market are sourced from referrals of colleagues and via our experience in head hunting professionals.

Online advertising

Langley James has preferential agreements with over 20 online job boards, ensuring each of our vacancies gets the maximum exposure to the right audience and attracts the best candidates. Some of the job boards we use are listed below.

On-line database

Many of the Job Boards (Jobsite, Planet Recruit etc) have created a facility for candidates to post their CV with a summary of their job requirements, in order to speed up the sourcing process. These Job Boards provide daily updates of available candidates that have just registered their interest in a new role. This is a valuable source of active job seekers.

Candidate tracking

We lead the way with the latest recruitment technology, which means we are always one step ahead. Our CRM system allows Langley James to track the availability of the best candidates and the whole recruitment process for each individual vacancy .

Job alerts

Candidates register their interest in certain skill sets or job titles on our website and they receive job alerts via email, SMS or RSS feeds as soon as any relevant roles are registered onto our database. This allows our Candidate Resource Managers to proactively contact candidates quickly and effectively for positions, which they have already shown an interest in.

SMS texting

Langley James has implemented a super-fast, efficient SMS facility. This method of communication has enabled us to maximise the technology used to reach candidates. The functionality is accessed via the candidate record on our database and allows us to reach the best candidates, ahead of our competitors.

Web 2.0

We are constantly carrying out research and development, to enable us to attract the best talent for our clients, utilising Online communities such as; Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to name but a few!
